Goggles required for UV protection

Good morning. I'm Noriko.

Thank you very much for coming to our ski resort and ski school during your vacation.

Next week, though, there are still vacations in Belgium, France, and the other cantons of Switzerland,

Crowds seem to be calming down a bit at the ski slopes.

Switzerland has eased its anti-corona measures and the previously required COVID pass is no longer necessary.

The wearing of masks in public vehicles continues to be mandatory, but wearing them otherwise is no longer required.

From now on, we will change to spring skiing, and in spring, ultraviolet rays will become more intense.

Goggles or sunglasses are essential while skiing!

Ultraviolet rays from snow reflections are so strong that they can burn the eyes just as much as they can burn the skin.

They also protect your eyes in the event of a fall, so don't forget them when skiing.

Basically, stores at ski resorts also sell sunglasses and goggles, so it is recommended that you buy them when you get there.
