Hello, this is Noriko 😃 We had a lot of snow again this past week!
This is my seventh year teaching in Switzerland, and I have never seen this amount of snow at this time of the year in December.
The current snowfall is 60 cm at the base and 119 cm at the peak; visitors can enjoy powder snow.

At the moment, only Lac Noir (beginner slope) is open on the T-bar lift, but the photo above shows the piste next to it. The new snow is lightly more than waist high! When I was in Japan, I could ski powder as a matter of course, but in Switzerland, powder days are far and few between, so I was very impressed with the skiing.
Now, here is the lift operation status for this Saturday, December 11, weekend!

Lifts will open one after another!
Have a good season!
