A thought occurred to me from our exchange at breakfast this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I cut a banana in half and showed him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Me: \"Did you see that?\"
Opponent: \"I saw it.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Japanese, this is all that is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But in English...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the subject and object are not properly included, the message will not be understood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Japanese is a language that \"can be omitted and still be understood by others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
English is a language that is \"properly structured to communicate to others without misunderstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I felt that this difference in cultural backgrounds makes it difficult for Japanese to learn English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knowing the origins of the language and cultural differences may make learning English a little easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
